I've opted to use onpageview instead, seems to achieve the same thing, and is better self-documenting. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]On Behalf Of Lon Boonen Sent: 02 June 2006 17:28 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [wdf-dom] Javascript & back button behaviour in Firefox make sure you attach an onunload method, that will disable FF's cache. ________________________________ From: [email protected] on behalf of Seb Frost Sent: Fri 02/06/2006 12:58 To: [email protected] Subject: [wdf-dom] Javascript & back button behaviour in Firefox This sounds like a simple request: I wan't to run some Javascript when a page has loaded, INCLUDING when the user has pressed the back button to get to the page. In IE I have no problem - both the onload event and a <script> block at the bottom of the document fire fine. In firefox, if you navigate to a page by pressing "back" in the browser that page will not fire it's onload event, or execute any script in <script> block at the bottom of the page. Is this normal behaviour, or is something else on my page screwing it up? How would you work around this? cheers Unsubscribe [email protected] List info http://www.quirksmode.org/dom/list.html Yahoo!
