RE: Firefox handling of HTTP Requests

Thanks Martin. I know of this RFC.
 
But, this is just the spec - do browsers really follow it? That was my question...

The HTTP-spec is here:
ftp://ftp.isi. <ftp://ftp.isi.edu/in-notes/rfc2616.txt> edu/in-notes/rfc2616.txt

A browser can check it there's a new version on the server. It doesn't 
have to. Just adhere to the specs and you shouldn't have to worry about 
different browsers.
