Other topics like compatibility/abstraction/etc frameworks like for example prototype and other could be an interesting topic to discuss, but for some reason this topic didn't arise. maybe again enough information there? canvas, webapp/html5 could also become nice topics to discuss, maybe we developers became different or at least behave different for the last few years and don't discuss much? most topics did arise in the past in the following way: one would post an email with "how can I do some stuff with ..." (or "did someone already something like that ...?") and this would result in some information shared on some interesting topic not only for the questioner. maybe there are a lot of blogs out, and google that searches through them all, so instead of typing an email one would type it into his search box? I'm not sure if there is nothing more to discuss, maybe this would be a nice topic.
