Elinks within Screen issue

I have had an issue for quite some time now and do not know where the problem is. I run Elinks witihin GNU screen and sometimes, when Elinks crashes for instance, I cannot bring it back. It seems to freeze with I run it again. If I run it outside of Screen then this is ok. The only thing I see when I restart Elinks is the following: WARNING: SEE is using non-release malloc And then it seems it waits forever.
