Intranet sites in elinks

I am unable to browse intranet sites in elinks but I am able to browse 
other sites through proxy. I have tried setting protocol.no_proxy option 
in /etc/elinks/elinks.conf. Also, I have tried setting this option using 
option manager while running elinks. I am new to elinks and I would be 
grateful if anyone can suggest me solution to this problem.
