Since I have verified that someone out there is indeed trying to send
email to the list with forged headers to impersonate me (and possibly
others) I went to using the GPG signed signatures on all of my email.

This way if one gets through the validity of the email can be
established.

It is no more than a security measure to protect the integrity of the
lists.

Why do you have two files attached? The GPG sig should only have one
attachment which is the sig itself.
