Hello,
I'm not a developer, I'm a user but I have ideas that I hope will 
influence development. I find that whenever I put something on my site I 
want to hit a variety of different content types and topics. I would 
like some kind of cohesive site-wide topics/sub-topics/content type 
relationships. Further, I would like these relationships recognized in 
side blocks.
So, if I have a topic - Sustainable Energy with sub-topics solar, 
biodiesel, wind ... with articles, web links, etc. I might also have a 
citizenship section with some governmental links to sustainable energy 
topics. It seems to me that this is the way that the web enhances our 
research by linking a wide range of different things together. Wouldn't 
we also want the same inter-related linkage in our sites?
Also, I may find an item that I would post to my site as an article but 
that also includes links. It could also include downloads. Could the 
interface between these data entry modes be more connected so that when 
you add an  article you can easily add a related lnk?
Just my thoughts about what would make my site updates easier.
