You would think a change log would have been enough. At any rate there is precedent in open source development to release errata packages to apply instead of repackaging the original release. All the major Linux distributions do it this way. All of the errata of course goes into the next version release (for example Envolution 1.0.1), but the original package of 1.0.0 is updated via the errata package. Instructions will be included. Of course this can be discussed again on the list to see what people want to do. But personally I support the errata package method so as to keep continuity and simplicity.
