Until a system that is cross browser compatible this should even be
discussed.

Any tool that locks out a particular segment of our community simply
because they don't use a particular browser is madness.

I for one deplore IE and 95% of all M$ products. Since I exclusively use
a non-windows platform that would mean I could not use it.

Being an open source cross platform project we should probably stay true
to that instead of having an option for only one part of the community.
