I havent seen any daily/monthly quote blocks.. But .. I guess one could
be built

The quote system could use some work anyway (IMO).  Then maybe it would
get used more.  More features

   Zoom --any chance you can share your year's worth of ephemrids?  That
could be of use to some people

Depending on what you want Ephemerids could be an option as well. I have
an SQL dump for a years worth of Ephemerids as well (actually I think it
may be larger).

Ephemerids is also already included as well as the Quote module that
MACscr pointed out.
