[EP-underground] Problem of handling special characters in Eprint Archive.

Dear Friends,

While depositing the contents into the Eprint Archive (Institutional
Repositories), I have come across the problem of handling special
characters such as Greek letters (Alpha, Beta, Gamma), superscripts etc.
When I copy the title and abstract of the article having those special
characters into the Eprint Archive, I get junk characters in place of
those Greek letters or superscripts. The original article is been
distorted. I would like to know how to retain the original characters as
such without distortion. I would be very grateful if you can share your
knowledge and experiences.
