Dear list,

I hope this is the right ML for announcing another web-server with
fastcgi support.

'lighttpd a secure, fast, compliant and very flexible web-server which
has been optimized for high-performance environments. It has a very low
memory footprint compared to other webservers and takes care of
cpu-load. Its advanced feature-set (FastCGI, CGI, Auth,
Output-Compression, URL-Rewriting and many more) make lighttpd the
perfect webserver-software for every server that is suffering load
 problems.'

lighttpd has FastCGI support since its first internal release back in
March, 2003. First, only RESPONDER and a year later also AUTHORIZER
mode.

While it still called lighttpd it is very feature-rich, just check out
the docs at http://jan.kneschke.de/projects/lighttpd/documentation/

It would be nice if lighttpd would be added to the front page.
