-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I've done some tests with FastCGI and php.(Dynamic FastCGI) I've taken a php script which sleeps for 20 seconds.(FastCGI idle timeout is 60 secs) This could be seen as a php page which consumes a lot of CPU or is busying transfering via a socket. I start loading the sleep script continual, so the php process is always "busy" doing something. When I load at the same moment another regular php script it takes pretty much time before there's any reaction. I've found out a single process of php was created, but only to handle that one process. This is quite disturbing, because a sites performance is degraded if just one script is slow. How can I configure mod_fastcgi so it is launching a new instance of the FastCGI process and then keep it there till the load has gone down or at least for a few minutes.
