This is what I have been doing on Fedore Core 1: cp Makefile.AP2 Makefile make top_dir=/usr/lib/httpd as root: ----- service httpd stop make top_dir=/usr/lib/httpd install service httpd start chmod 755 /var/log/httpd ----- The chmod seems to be needed because fastcgi is creating sockets there.
