Hi, On a particular virtual host in apache, fastcgi processes occasionly hangs (This virtual is only used by myself). PHP is the FastCGI process. FastCGI creates up to the maximum processes my config allows (10 pieces). The killing of processes after leaving the virtualhost alone is very slow. When I then call a hello-world script, an other instance of the FastCGI process, php, is run, but it doesn't do anything. I also got PHP running on a very busy virtualhost (Website with over 2000 visitors per day and around 100000 requests on the php fastcgi. the 2 Virtualhosts are configured indentical and the php version is an exact copy. Only differences between the 2 vhosts is: - The first vhost is a SSL host - Scripts in the first vhost are using a lot of shell_exec calls. But I don't see why those 2 things should cause FastCGI to do weird things. Does anyone have a clue what could be going on or how to debug the FastCGI processes (with strace like tools)? Thanks in Advanced, Frank de Bot ___________________________________ fastcgi-developers mailing list http://fastcgi.com/fastcgi-developers/
