Apache 2 and PHP/fastcgi - problem

I have Apache 2.0.52 with mod_fastcgi 2.4.2 and PHP 4.3.11 installed 
on Gentoo box.

When starting apache (php as fast-cgi) it runs w/o any problems, 
but after some requests (500 - 1500) php die. 
It doesn't depend on method fastcgi server is started 
(FastCgiServer or FastCgiExternalServer) - in both cases it die.

How to repare it?
