Working with different versions or do I have a bug?

I have fast-cgi installed on my Apache server which is working with a cgi that I don't have the source for. So I can't recompile it. The developer tells me that it is already FastCGi compliant and it looks like it's working fine. Now I want to compile the developer's kit using the same version because right now I get an error in the error_log as follows: [Tue May 31 09:06:55 2005] [notice] IBM_HTTP_Server/1.3.6.2 Apache/1.3.7-dev (Unix) mod_fastcgi/2.2.2 configured -- resuming normal operations [Tue May 31 09:08:02 2005] [error] [client 142.20.196.235] FastCGI: comm with server "/myproj/bin/mycgi.exe" aborted: protocol error: invalid version: 67 != FCGI_VERSION(1) Sometimes I get a "version: 10 != FCGI_VERSION(1)" I'm using the "Jun07" version of the developer's kit. I assumed that this was the same as the 2.2.2 version. Is this not right? Any ideas how to solve my problem? ___________________________________ fastcgi-developers mailing list http://fastcgi.com/fastcgi-developers/
