Hello,

I did it 2 weeks ago. It seems it worth it. Peek CPU load dropped for
about 10-15% on dual Xeon/3.2 Ghz.
But I was unable to set URI -> script mapping (I mean request /foo.fcgi
runs foo.fcgi script and /blah.fcgi goes to blah.fcgi). All requests are
mapped to one (specified by "bin-path"). But it is more to lighttpd than
to fastcgi. Maybe you will have to use some handler that will manage
request by URI.
Besides of this there was no need of changing perl code.
