FastCGI on Dual Core processors?

has any one tried to install FastCGI on a machine with AMD64 processor? 
Is the current release of FastCGI working under 64bit mode?

and second question,

what about FastCGI under a dual core (AMD64 X2) ?

I would really like to hear some impressions, feedback.
