Connections per server

Hi,

   I have been working for a while in the FastCGI support of Cherokee
   [1]. At this moment, it is almost finished and working, but I have a
   question for you guys. :-)

   It seems like the libfcgi library has been implemented to allow only
   one active connection to the FastCGI server. One of the suppositions
   I made was that the server could manage to open more than one
   connection per FCGI, but after play with PHP-fcgi for a while I have
   realized I was wrong.

   Is there a way to allow more than one connection per FCGI?
