Trouble with POST using Perl on LightTPD

I'm having trouble reading POST form data using a perl dispatcher on the
LightTPD web server.

STDIN is always empty and the CONTENT_LENGTH environmental variable is
nonexistant.
The CONTENT_TYPE variable exists and is correct and REQUEST_METHOD does show
POST.

Is there a special method necessary to access POST in perl when using FCGI
or is this a bug?
