FastCGI looks potentially promising in my application environment:
cris-linux-axis-gnu, AXIS 83+ Devboard with ETRAX 16mb BGA.

I currently use boa and php as a CGI under the 2.4.x kernel, however it
appears with FastCGI, php will operate with greater efficiency and without
the cgi limitations.

FastCGI appears to not officially be supported by BOA (or regular thttpd),
both of which have very small footprints. Since my embedded board will
serve a single client only, and then very irregularly, the robustness of the
http server is not critical.

Anyone know what the issue/s are with using FastCGI and boa? Work-around?

Maybe FastCGI can't be ported to CRIS anyway... (sigh)
