apache2 + mod_fastcgi + multiple uid/gid with one fastCGI-server

Hello,

I am considering to run Apache2 with a persistent PHP interpreter (maybe as static server with mod_fastCGI). There are some VHosts which have to use the interpreter. Is it possible to run the php-scripts with separate users and groups? The problem is that I only want one PHP interpreter in memory because the system has a lack of memory. So, is it possible that the persistent PHP interpreter changes it's user and group for each request?

Best regards,

Matthias
