mod_fcgid and CGI::Fast

First, is this list still alive? http://fastcgi.com/fastcgi-developers is now
returning "Document Not Found."

Second, I am trying to develop a fastcgi application in Perl that uses
CGI::Fast and the alternative mod_fcgid. Is this an appropriate list for
discussing mod_fcgid? Does anyone here have experience with mod_fcgid,
CGI::Fast, or (hopefully) both?

Right now I am seeing "mod_fcgid: Read data error, fastcgi server has close
connection" when I try to access my application.

I'm using Apache 2.0.52 as built by Server Logistics running on OS X 10.3,
mod_fcgid 2.0, FCGI.pm 0.67, and CGI::Fast 1.07.  In other words, except for
Apache and OS X, I'm running the latest versions.

Does this ring any bells? Is there something in particular I should be doing
differently with mod_fcgid?
