FastCGI Experience & Usage

I would like to thank everyone that has replied to my prior,
so called, "dead in the water" post.

Please post the version of FastCGI module/implementation and
HTTP server (Apache, etc...) you are using and whether or not
you are currently experiencing any issues with this technology.

I would also like to gather some input from people that are sharing
the same FCGI server across multiple vhosts over Unix socket
under Apache. I have been doing this for a while with success,
primarily for PHP scripts. The only problem I have ran into is upload
or any other script which takes very long time to return back some
output. I'm in the process of upgrading from mod_fastcgi 2.4.0 to
2.4.2 I already have it running on beta machine. I believe this
would solve my upload script problems. So far so good.
