that would be fatal for a whole lot of huge applications.
So in case it ever dies you can be sure there will be instantly hundrets of 
replacements. actualy there are already several independent implementations 
of fastcgi.
If you want to use fastcgi for a long live application, the website should be 
your smallest concern :)
