i recommend getting a real server, or a virtual server if the big ones aren't 
in your budget. Safes you alot of trouble with incompatible librarys and 
stuff. Besides most shared hosters optimise their servers for the standard 
php/mysql combination. ruby or python if you're lucky. If you don't feel like 
beeing able to maintain the box yourself, get a managed one.
