Interesting - I've been looking into the multiplexing recently and  
apart from the fact that most webservers don't seem to support  
multiplexing, a lot of discussion I've seen seems to revolve around a  
perceived problem that the lack of flow control built into the  
protocol makes multiplexing many requests a potentially dangerous  
proposition for the upstream app server, particuarly if you have a  
very highly concurrent webserver such as nginx.

Would be really interested to know what views FastCGI people hold on  
this?
