Normally isn't the thousand separator the comma character i.e ','?

Have you tried using the escape character? e.g.
%\'
%\,

Subject: [FASTCGI] thousand separator in fcgi c

Is there a portable way to do a thousand separator for numbers in a fcgi c application?
Seems %' doesn't work for printf under windows.
