Can I do some cleanup work when the request is timeout?

Hi, all:

    When I was using mod_fast cgi, I want to do some cleanup work when the
current request is timeout(the -idle-timeout configuration). How can I do
that in my applications? For example, I want to kill a long running mysql
connection just before the timeout.
