?: server error on fcg exit

Fast CGI Developers, I am not a developer but am faced with debugging a problem I am having with a production environment. I have been using FCGI under Solaris for several years minimal problems. I have recently moved to Lunix 2.4.25-040218 with Apache 2.0.50 and mod_fastcgi-SNAP-0404142202. The problem is that I am getting "server error - error 500" when a user attempts to access a fcgi driven page after the FCG has exited. I am looking for guidance on how to debug this issue and if I am doing something wrong with the FastCGI configuration. I am using the following configuration parameters: FastCgiConfig -maxClassProcesses 5 -maxProcesses 100 -minProcesses 1 -restart -restart-delay 1 AddHandler fastcgi-script .fcg I have tried researching this issue but have not come up with any guidance.
