core dumps with cgi

Hi,
On Mandrake 9.2, I have just installed fnord. I compiled it with cgi
support. But whenever I try to open a file like,
http://127.0.0.1/t.cgi
I get,
Gateway broken or unavailable.
and core dumps in default/ directory.

What is wrong? Thanks a lot in advance and bye.
