Re the fix supposedly in cvs: two people (me (stupid user) and weeve
(one of the sparc gentoo devs)) just tried this and it still breaks. You
sure you didn't accidentally tell it the wrong way around, i.e. fixed
the 32 bit version and not the 64 bit one?
but the problem might be that our ld is 32 bit ... because glibc is 32
bit ...
Weeve also tried to build dietlibc and fnord in 32 bit with -mcpu=v8, and
_that_ seemingly works. but not without -mcpu and not with -mcpu=v9 ..
