hi all,

i'm very new to this list so it'is possible, that i've missed something.

i'd like to announce some lines of code:

there's a fnord-auth package available at:
https://www.b3rt.de/code/fnord/

If you need HTTP-auth (RFC2617) with fnord-httpd, you should
have a look at

   https://www.b3rt.de/code/fnord/

It's tested on fbsd and on linux (with and without diet
libc).

fnord-auth supports apache .htpasswd file format [1] created
with the apache htpasswd utility.

fnord-auth can be configured with two files:
+ .http-passwd (the .htpasswd style passwordfile)
+ .http-dirs (a newline seperated list with
  directories/files)
