I think it's time I open up a gatling mailing list. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway, emule.de has been under a denial of service attack recently, the case has received widespread publicity in German media. A trojaned emule client was spread, which attacks emule.de with a lot of HTTP requests when run. I just replaced their apache with gatling on emule.de and now the brunt of the attack is running against a brick wall. The box is hosting a few different domains and web sites as well, with dynamic content, which so far is only victim of the attack at a much lesser extent. Anyway, the box still has a load of 40 to 100 and is really unresponsive, except for the gatling which churns out pages nicely ;-) Anyway, I think I should add FastCGI support before adding SMB or NFS support. Who has any experience with FastCGI? If I supported FastCGI, they could switch completely to gatling and their problem would be gone completely. Who would be willing to help with this endeavour? Felix
