Thanks for clarifying the concern I had, which is ultimately about how
nicely SVGZ will play inside the existing sfnt table in terms of size.
A few extra kilobytes are fine if browser rendering speed can be
maintained.

It’s sufficiently fast with a few Latin-1 SVG fonts I tested this
afternoon. They load as quickly, or nearly as quickly, as WOFFs.
