Re: Announcing new font compression project

Hi Raph,

It's interesting to see that MonoType had decided to provide
their font compression technology under open-source friendly
license. When I met with Vladimir at SC29/WG11 meeting in
Kyoto (Japan), the "lessening" of the license for ISO/IEC
14496-18 would not be possible. It would be helpful to make
an open-source implementation for EOT? :-)
