Based on the release notes, I had the same impression. But if the usual 
JetBrains approach is applied to FreeMarker, support will get much 
deeper in short order.

Well, I'm allergic to Eclipse and I have scarcely any experience with 
NetBeans at all, so I can't say. (I just had to make my obligatory 
disparaging remark about Eclipse. It's awful!)
