NOOO, not at all. You have nothing to apologize for. I fixed a bug in 
SVN HEAD because of this. 123?number should just return 123, it 
shouldn't throw an exception. That was a bug.

It's already fixed in SVN HEAD, and there should be a new freemarker.jar 
on the bamboo server now (or fairly shortly, whenever it's cronned) so 
if you replace your bleeding edge jar with the latest one, the issue 
should be gone.
