Problem is, I don't know how high is the traffic of some sites.
FreeMarker is used in Alfresco, so you can look at their customer list
Also, it's used in Jive Software's products, so you can look at their
customer list too.

Forum pages of oprah.com are FreeMarker generated (as they use Jive
Forums, which uses FreeMarker). I guess that passes as "high
traffic" :-)

MapQuest also uses FreeMarker. I knew this for some months but wasn't
sure whether it's publicly disclosable information, but seeing how
it's advertised elsewhere now (see http://marcgrabanski.com/article/my-ajax-experience
, search the page for either MapQuest or FreeMarker) I think it's
public :-) MapQuest is quite high traffic.

I also know that several CNN web properties as well as certain
LucasArts websites are FreeMarker generated.

Honestly, it's hard to keep track; actually, it's really impossible.
FreeMarker is by now embedded in almost every web framework out there,
as well as in large number of website building products, so its fairly
widespread by virtue of those without us ever hearing back about it :-)

Attila.
