Attila, Is using method in view strongly encourage in your user group? I've been encouraging my developers not to call methods in view at all to avoid side effect. I understand the feature of calling methods are nice and flexible, but perhaps Freermarker should encourage a "right" usage of a view as template. Ofcourse the word "right" is totally subjective, and if Freemarker doesn't have this concept, then it's fine with me too.
