In my opinion just "bar..." without default argument should work, just
like in 2.3. I don't see how a default value could be meaningful for a
catch-all parameter. There is a bug there in 2.4pre1, I suppose.

It's Jonathan who will tell the final word, but I think this
compatibility problem definitely must be fixed. I must be just some
kind of overlook really. I hope...
