I am new to Freemarker and I am going through the link you had mentioned
above. I want one small clarification... is freemarker template is only for
display or even we can send some user entered data to controller? 

and *.ftl files will have all the freemarker
macros/directives(freemarker)/<#list/<#if..... tags (the values we want to
display). should we include ftl files in html /jsp ..... or ftl it self acts
as jsp... were even we can put decorators/images?
