Taglib errors (again)

I've asked this question a couple of times before, but it is becoming more of a priority for me because my products use FreeMarker and these errors really freaking customers out. I need to have them turned off and before I file a bug for it or hack up FreeMarker myself, I wanted to try the list one more time.

Here are the errors I'm seeing:

Warning: validation was turned on but an org.xml.sax.ErrorHandler was not
set, which is probably not what is desired.  Parser will use a default
ErrorHandler to print the first 10 errors.  Please call
the 'setErrorHandler' method to fix this.
Error: URI=jndi:/localhost/WEB-INF/web.xml Line=5: Document root element "web-app", must match DOCTYPE root "null".
Error: URI=jndi:/localhost/WEB-INF/web.xml Line=5: Document is invalid: no grammar found.

Anyone know a quick method of getting rid of these?
