No. The distinction between an FTL tag and an FTL directive is the
same as the distinction between a HTML tag and a HTML element (because
those are not the same either). So, an FTL tag is the piece of source
code that you are using to mark where and how do you want to *use*
(typically, to call) a directive, while the directive is what you are
using (like calling). With a Java language analogy, it's like a method
call VS a method.
