Pre-parsing FreeMarker Templates

    Hi, everybody.

    Can I use Configuration.getTemplate(java.lang.String name, 
java.util.Locale locale, java.lang.String encoding, boolean parse) to 
pre-parsing FreeMarker templates without evaluating/processing them? Is 
this something similar to JSP pre-compilation?
    It's not a performance issue. I just want to check the syntax of all 
my FreeMarker template in an automatic procedure of "sanity check".

PS: I think I read something about this subject before. I just can not 
remember where.
