Adapting the way to reference bean from template model

Hello,

I have elements in the model map I provide to the template that have the following structure:

data
 - name
 - properties
    - property
       - name
       - value

I would like to reference such objects and their properties like that: ${dataName} and ${dataName.propertyName}

Is it possible to do something like that using the bean wrapper feature of Freemarker? If so, what are the steps to follow.
