Thanks for the feedback.  It's always appreciated even though we don't
always show it particularly well, or necessarily agree with it.

Hmm.. either my memory is failing or you're the first one in a while now
to list some features that got lost in the big rewrite.  (It's must be
the former, the flamewars in galeon-devel propably burned a few
braincells too many.  I just hope the remaining one is still there ;)

I've been using galeon2 for so long that I can't much remember what
galeon1 was like.  It would be generally helpful for everyone concerned
to have a comprehensive list of galeon1 features and their status in
galeon2 (will not be implemented / implemented but no GUI / work in
progress / need help.)  But if everyone's as lazy as I am, we won't be
seeing such list anytime soon :)

Why do you need to clear the location bar?  If you're simply going to
open the URL that's in the clipboard, you can just paste it on the
browser window (not over a link or text area) or on the New button¹ (I
think it's supposed to support that, not sure, I never use it.)

Or do you need to edit the URL before loading it?  If so, then it's a
more difficult problem.  I think this 'pasting replaces current text'
should be supported by the gtk text entry itself (my current workaround
is clicking on the entry, pressing Ctrl-U² and then pasting.)

Introducing a new button that only clears the contents of the location
entry just sounds strange to me.  I'd much rather see 'Replace' or
similar in the text entry context menu.  Maybe pasting on the drag
handle could replace the text in the location entry.  I don't know what
the correct solution is, just braindumping alternatives.

was intended to get back.  As usual, someone needs to do the work :-/

Maybe GUI for it is needed, maybe not, I don't know.  You seem to have
enabled gestures without the GUI, so I'm inclined to believe it's not
needed :)

Oh yes, they were horribly broken for a while.  I blame others for
accepting my ideas so easily ;)  They should be better now.
