Thanks for the quick response.  understanding busyness and lazyness is what I'm
all about, so don't worry bout it :)

this is by no means a necessary feature, just something I got used to having
with galeon 1.  of course there's the workarounds you mentioned, and it would
be quite nice if the gtk widget supported some sort of 'pasting replaces
current text'.  I think this is mostly just the way I've grown used to using
pasted urls, especially since pasting anywhere in the window never seemed
terribly natural to me, but that's just my old stogyness coming into effect.  i
can change, really :)

ok, that's mostly slippage on my part.  it was the showing of which site was
being blocked that i mentioned above that i actually use.  then i was just
going through context menus in g1 and g2 next to each other and noticed this
difference and put it in the mail. but you're right, its dumb and not necessary
:)  so scratch that!

here, personally don't care about how to enable them since once it's done it's
done, and especially since gconf can do system-wide settings i only need to do
this once.  but i am not everyone :)
