Mmm, my experience in xterms is that when you click to gain focus, or if you click when the focus is on mouse enter, then the current selection is lost (as the mouse left click initiate a new selection). Hmmm... maybe my worries are completely > unfounded? ;) Well, it works well, the \n appears as a small square box. if you enter it, galeon 1 will even ignore the \n and go for the url. The history will be messed up though, showing a two (or more) line entry.
